| Vanuatu trips are fully crewed. We can also tailor a trip to suit your individual requirements and can arrange shared trips, ½ and single day, reef, sport and game fishing charters. We can also arrange packages staying at a number of Vanuatu’s hotels and resorts.
Below are some of our suggested packages designed to maximize your Vanuatu fishing experience.
REMOTE LIVE ON BOARD EXPEDITION First Day Arrive in Espiritu Santo. Upon arrival at Santo airport you will be transferred to your chosen hotel for your first evening of accommodation. Day 2 Onwards Board your vessel early morning and commence your charter. During this expedition you’ll fish grounds rarely visited by other anglers. Pristine reef systems, underwater sea mounts and remote volcanic islands with steep cliff faces not only offer superb fishing but spectacular scenery. Target a variety of species from yellowfin tuna, wahoo, mahi mahi and giant trevally. Then there’s sailfish, black marlin, striped marlin and of course Vanuatu’s famous blue marlin. If jigging is your thing then massive dogtooth tuna, coral trout, jobfish and red bass will test your will and tackle supplies. After an enjoyable days fishing you will return to one of the many secluded calm anchorages where you can enjoy a swim, snorkel or venture on shore and experience local village life. Enjoy a quiet beer before dinner. For the enthusiastic angler, drop a bait over the side at night for red bass, sweetlip, or giant trevally. Accommodation is on board each evening. On your last day of charter, after arriving back into Santo and high fives all round, enjoy a few drinks with the crew before heading back to your chosen hotel for your overnight accommodation. Final Day Transfer will be provided from your hotel to the airport in time to get your return flight. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the superb Anglers Retreat located at Port Havannah. This afternoon you can relax, swim or snorkel off the retreat’s private beach. Enjoy an afternoon drink before dinner. You may even wish to cast a few lures off the beach for the resident trevally. Day 2 Onwards Board your vessel early morning and begin your charter. Fish Hat Island and the famous Marlin Highway for blue marlin and yellowfin tuna. Head to Nguna Volcano, home to sailfish, speedy wahoo and big dogtooth tuna. You’ll visit the picturesque Matasso Island and Monument Rock in search of the jobfish, dogtooth tuna and red bass populations that inhabit these waters. Pull massive coral trout and red bass from the Scott’s Rock bommies or cast poppers for monster GT’s. Each afternoon you will return to the retreat to enjoy a swim, few well earned ales and an evening meal. The beauty of this option is the fishing grounds are located right on the retreat’s doorstep. Last Day Early breakfast. Transfer will be provided from the Anglers Retreat to Port Vila airport for your return flight. Transfer to your chosen hotel for overnight accommodation. Day 2 Onwards You will be met each morning and transferred you to your chosen vessel. Each day you will fish locations such as the famous Marlin Highway, Erromango Sea Mounts, Nguna Volcano and Hat Island. The waters within 20 minutes off Port Vila offer some of the best blue marlin fishing found anywhere in the world. Target species include black, blue and striped marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, wahoo and dogtooth tuna. Final Day Transfer will be provided from your hotel to the airport in time to get your return flight.
