Arrive in Port Vila. You will be met at Port Vila airport and transferred to the Formule Hotel for your overnight stay.
Evening at leisure. Enjoy a meal at one of Port Vila’s numerous restaurants or bars.
After your hotel pick-up meet your captain and crew at our charter base for your charter briefing. Board your vessel and head out for your first days fishing. Head north fishing the inshore grounds of Hat Island for wahoo, queenfish and dogtooth tuna. Head back to port late afternoon for a well earned drink waiting for you at our charter base. Enjoy an evening meal at one of the many bars and restaurants in Port Vila.
Today we head north again fishing the island of Moso. Troll the fringing reef for bluefin trevally and coral trout before bringing out the poppers for a shot at the giant trevally that frequent these inshore reefs. We’ll then head in closer to the inshore grounds off the Tuku Tuku point targeting dogtooth tuna before heading home late afternoon. Enjoy an evening meal at one of the many bars and restaurants in Port Vila.
Today we head straight out to the FAD’s located off Devils Point and Tuku Tuku Point. These Fish Aggregating Devices prove extremely affective in attracting the bait which hold big pelagics. It’s not uncommon to encounter manageable yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi and wahoo around these FAD’s. If you’re lucky there is a good a chance of catching a marlin or 2 on light tackle.
A day at leisure. After three days of encountering our large pelagics enjoy a day sightseeing. Either lay by the pool enjoying a few drinks or head down town to the local markets. You may wish to take one of the many tours on offer or visit the famous Cascade Waterfall and Hideaway Island.
Today is an early start as we’ll be travelling south to Eratap and Eton Reef for your chance at some serious popper fishing. Big GT’s are the target today. Once blown away by the trevally we’ll head back north trolling for wahoo and sailfish in close before arriving back to port late afternoon.
Today we look to top off the trip with a billfish. With eyes peeled we look for the bait schools that frequent the lee shores off Tuku Tuku and Hat Island. Yellowfin tuna, blue marlin and mahi mahi are our main targets today. As we get closer to home we’ll fish the FAD’s located close to Port Vila looking for the last fish of the trip. After arriving at our charter base and high fives all round enjoy a few drinks with the crew before heading back to your overnight accommodation at the Formule Hotel. Top off your last night with a dinner at one of the many superb restaurants in Port Vila.
